ビジネスランチの場所を検討する場面で使われるフレーズをご紹介いたします。
■比較検討するときの表現
(1)形容詞を使う
- ABC restaurant is more formal than DEF Café.
- ABCレストランはDEFカフェよりフォーマルです。
- ABC restaurant is as crowded as DEF Café, but it isn't as noisy.
- ABCレストランもDEFカフェも同じくらいの込み具合ですが、ABCのほうが騒がしくありません。
(2)副詞を使う
- You can get a table more easily at DEF Café than at ABC restaurant.
- ABCレストランよりDEFカフェの方が予約なしでも席を確保しやすいです。
(3)可算名詞を使う
- DEF Café has more tables than ABC restaurant.
- ABCレストランよりDEFカフェのほうが席がたくさんあります。
- ABC restaurant has fewer desserts than DEF Café.
- ABCレストランよりDEFカフェの方がデザートが少ないです。
(4)不可算名詞を使う
- ABC restaurant has more space than DEF Café.
- ABCレストランはDEFカフェより空間が広いです。
- At DEF Café, you'll be served in less time than at ABC restaurant.
- ABCレストランよりDEFカフェの方が早く料理がきます。
