Unless means "if ... not". For example, "You can't enter the country unless you have a visa" means you can't enter IF you do NOT have a visa.

(Be careful: Don't confuse unless (= "if ... NOT") with "if"; for example, "I'll meet you in the park unless it rains," and "I'll meet you in the coffee shop IF it rains." The first sentence means you'll meet in the park if it does NOT rain, but the second sentence means you'll meet in the coffee shop if it DOES rain.)

unlessは、"if ... not"(もし~なければ)の意味です。例えば、You can't enter the country unless you have a visa.と言ったら、もしビザを持っていなければ入国できない、という意味になります。

注意: unless (="if ... NOT")とifを混同しないようにしましょう。例えば、I'll meet you in the park unless it rains.とI'll meet you in the coffee shop IF it rains.という2つの文では、前者は、雨が降らなければ公園の中で会いましょう、という意味なのに対し、後者は、雨が降ったらコーヒーショップの中で会いましょう、という意味になります。
