Well, by the end of this week May will be behind us, and June -- a month for smiling brides (and rain!) -- will be here. What are your plans for June?

Here's your Monday WordMaster!
ASK FOR 〜を求める

To ask for something is to request it.

ask forは、何か(物や助けなど)を求めるという意味です。

1.a:Who should I ask for an extra blanket for my bed?
b:Ask the woman at the front desk.

2.My husband is too proud to ask for directions when he's lost.

3.Never ask friends for money. Although you may gain some cash, you may also lose a friend.

4.a:Mr. Hunt, can I ask you for some advice?
b:Sure. What's the problem?
Take care!
