Explanation

  • When you ask a person to repeat something they've already told you, you can end the question with ...again?
  • 疑問文の最後に ... again?  をつけると、「~をもう一度言ってくれますか。」という意味になります。

examples

  1. I know you told me earlier, but what's your name, again? 
  2. (on the phone)
    GUEST: I'd like to reserve a room for three people for two nights, from the 22nd of September, checking out on the 24th.
    HOTEL RESERVATIONS DESK: Okay, that's a room for two nights, checking in on the 22nd and checking out on the 24th. Um ... how many people will be staying in the room, again? 
  3. (on the phone)
    CALLER: Send my order to 1247 Birch Street North.
    SALESMAN: I'm sorry, but I couldn't hear you. What's the address, again?
