It's hard to believe another Friday has come along, but here it is. So with this edition, we end our series on the word 'care' and hope that you'll have many opportunities to use this versatile word in the coming days and weeks.
TAKE CARE OF 処理する、世話をする
- To take
care of something is to give it your
attention and do what is necessary.
When you take care of a person, animal, or plant, you do what is necessary for them to be well, happy, or safe. ) - "take
care of + 物" は、その物事について何が必要かを考えて行う――つまり、処理するという意味です。
"take care of + 人/動物/植物" は、それを良い状態にしたり、保護したりする――つまり、世話をする、という意味です。

FATHER: Take care of yourself. (= Stay well and safe.)
SON: I will, Dad. Bye.
