Welcome back! We've been looking forward
to this day all week! How was your holiday? We truly hope it was everything
you wanted it to be!
And now, with much ado, we present you with the very first WordMaster of
2005!
SPEED UP / SLOW DOWN
- To speed up is
to move or occur more quickly, or to make something move or occur
more quickly.
To slow down is to move or occur more slowly, or to make something move or occur more slowly.
Be Careful! The opposite of speed up is slow down. We do NOT say “speed down”.
注意:speed up の反対は、slow down です。
