Happy Friday to you! Here's a WordMaster edition you won't want to ...
THROW AWAY 捨てる
- To throw away something is to put it in a place where things you no longer want are put; for example, in a waste basket, by the side of the road as garbage, etc.
- throw away とは、何かを、いらないものが捨てられる場所 - ゴミ箱や道路脇のゴミ集積場所など - に捨てる、という意味です。
- Don't throw that food away. We can have it for lunch tomorrow.
- I find it hard to throw away anything. My closets are filled with old stuff I never use.
- SON: Have you seen my black jeans? I can't find them.
MOTHER: I threw them away. They had big holes in the knees.
That's a keeper, don't you think? Enjoy the weekend!
