Explanation

  • The expression the city is used to talk IN GENERAL about places where there are large numbers of homes, businesses, and other buildings.

    The word urban is used to talk about things found in or connected with the city.
  • the city は一般的に、住宅や企業、店舗、その他の建物がたくさん集まっている場所つまり、都会のことです。

    urban は、都市で見られる、または都市に関係のあるものを指すのに使います。
