Explanation

  • When talking about sports, a fan is a person who admires or supports a player or team, or one who likes the sport itself. A person can also be a fan of an artist, a celebrity, an art form (such as a genre of music, movies, or books), etc.
  • スポーツについて話すとき、fan とは、選手やチームを賞賛したり応援したりする人、または、そのスポーツそのものが好きな人のことをいいます。芸術家、有名人、特定の芸術分野(音楽、映画、文学分野など)などが好きな人のことも fan ということができます。
