Warm greetings to you today! We hope you're well.
If you're a lover of books - like we are - there's no place quite like today's WordMaster. In fact, we'll be spending the entire week there. So find a book that interests you, settle into your favorite seat (We're especially fond of the big wooden table next to the rare book collection!) and enjoy this week with us!
LIBRARY / LIBRARIAN 図書館/司書
- A library is a place where books, newspapers, magazines, CDs, video and cassette tapes, etc. are kept for people to use there or borrow, usually for free.
A librarian is a person (usually a specialist) who works in a library.
- During summer vacations when I was a child, I spent almost every day reading at the public library.
- The university library has over 3 million books on its shelves.
- a: Did you get this book for your birthday?
b: No, it's a library book. - (a librarian to a first-time visitor)
I'm sorry, but you can't borrow books without a library card. - I'm studying to become a librarian.
Perhaps it's time to give your eyes a rest!
