DELAYED / (flight) DELAY   遅れた/(フライトの)遅れ

Explanation

  • If something is delayed, it happens later than scheduled or expected.

    Such a situation (for example, when a flight is delayed) is called a delay (noun).
  • delayed とは、何かが予定や予期されていたよりも遅れて起こる、という意味です。

    例えば、飛行機の遅れのことは、delay (名詞)といいます。
