Explanation

  • A cooperative is a business that is owned and operated by its members, who share the profits and other benefits. In many cases, members are also the people who use the business' services.
  • cooperative とは、会員が所有、運営する組織、つまり、協同組合のことで、収益その他の利益は会員の間で分配されます。多くの場合、会員はその組織が提供するサービスの利用者でもあります。

  1. The farm is run by a cooperative of 16 members, who share in the work and decision-making.
