Explanation

  • A wrench is a tool that is used to hold and turn nuts and bolts.

    Be Careful! In the United States, we do NOT usually use the word “spanner” (スパナ) to mean wrench.
  • wrench とは、ねじやボルトを押さえたり、回したりするのに使う道具、つまり、レンチのことです。

    注意:アメリカでは一般的に、wrench のことを “spanner” (スパナ)とは言いません。
    *イギリスでは、wrench のことを “spanner” (スパナ)と言います。
