Do you hear that fanfare? Do you feel the electricity in the air? Do you see the teeming millions who've turned out to offer their congratulations? Well, it could only mean one thing - it's the 7th anniversary of Berlitz WordMaster!!
Yes, on this day back in the year 2000, we sent out the very first WordMaster edition. Now, seven years later, we continue to have the great pleasure of bringing WordMaster to fine people like you! Thank you for making us a part of your life and for making WordMaster such a success!
PAGODA 仏塔
- The pagoda at To-ji Temple in Kyoto is the tallest wooden structure in Japan.
- Rick has a Japanese woodblock print of a five-tiered (= five-story) pagoda on his wall.
- (tourists asking a passerby a favor)
a: Would you mind taking our picture?
b: No problem.
a: And can you try to get the pagoda in the picture too?
Maybe next year we'll celebrate our 8th anniversary with an enormous cake in the shape of an 8-tiered pagoda!
