Yes, it's almost Halloween, and the week is sure to be filled with sights and sounds ordinarily found only in bad dreams and ghost stories. We'll save the ghost stories for later, but for now, let's close our eyes and see what our imaginations can dream up for our nighttime entertainment!

Explanation

  • A nightmare is a very bad dream or a very bad experience.

    Be Careful! You do not SEE a nightmare, as in the Japanese expression 悪夢を見る. You HAVE a nightmare.
  • nightmare は、とても悪い夢、または、とても悪い経験のことです。

    注意:日本語では、「悪夢を見る」と言いますが、英語に SEE a nightmare という表現はありません。 HAVE a nightmare と言います。
