Happy Halloween!!
It's the favorite day of ghosts, goblins, and ghouls, and here's an expression they all love to shout!
TRICK OR TREAT!
- Trick or treat! is an expression used by children on Halloween when they visit a house wearing costumes to ask for “treats” (= sweets).
Trick or treating is the act of going from house to house in a costume on Halloween asking for sweets.
Be Careful! Although the expression Trick or treat! means that if you don't give the child sweets, he or she will play a “trick” on you (= do some naughty or playful act, such as throw an egg at your house or ring the doorbell and run away), most children will simply walk away disappointed. - Trick or treat!
Trick or treating
注意: Trick or treat!
