Explanation

  • A steeple is a tall, pointed tower on the top of a church building.

    A cross is a symbol of the Christian church with a shape similar to the Japanese character for “ten”(十).
  • steeple とは、教会の建物の最上部に付いている、先の尖った、高い塔のことです。

    cross は、キリスト教の教会で用いられるシンボルで、漢字の「十」に似た形をしています。
