SPEND (TIME) (時間を)過ごす
- To spend time or to spend a period of time is to be somewhere, to be with someone, or to do something for a period of time.
- spend time または、spend a period of time は、一定の時間、どこかにいる、誰かと一緒にいる、または何かをする、つまり、時を過ごす、という意味です。
- a: What are your plans for the weekend?
b: Nothing special. I'm just going to spend time with my family at home. - I spend a lot of time watching TV these days.
