REMIND 思い出させる
- To remind someone is to help them remember something they may have forgotten.
- remind とは、人が忘れてしまったかもしれない何かを思い出させる、という意味です。
- a: It's 3:30. Remember, you have a dentist's appointment at 4:00.
b: Oh, that's right! Thanks for reminding me. - (upon arriving overseas on a business trip)
Could you remind me to call my wife later? If I forget to let her know I arrived safely, she'll worry. - (a clerk in the stockroom)
Would you please remind your supervisor that you need to show me written permission in order to check out equipment? - (e-mail to all customers of an online bookstore)
