Explanation

  • A treaty is a written formal agreement between two or more countries.
  • treaty とは、2か国以上の間での書面による正式な取り決め、つまり、条約のことです。

  1. The CITES Treaty was meant to control the international trade in endangered species.
  2. Many countries have negotiated international treaties allowing people to travel back and forth without visas.
  3. A peace treaty between Egypt and Israel was signed on March 26, 1979.
