Here's one very important facet of a strong work ethic!
FOLLOW THROUGH (計画、約束などを)守り抜く、最後までやり通す
- To follow through is to take action that has been planned, promised, suggested, etc., or to continue doing something, especially until it's finished.
- follow through とは、計画、約束、提案したことを行動に移す、また、特に、ひとつのことが完了するまで何かを継続して行う、という意味です。
- I agree that Hank has a lot of good ideas, but unfortunately he never follows through with any of them.
- Customer retention is all about following through on promises. If you say you're going to do something, you'd better do it.
- I made some New Year's resolutions in January, but haven't been able to keep them. I think that next year I'm going to make a resolution to follow through on my resolutions!
- Jack is off to a great start in the company golf tournament. I just hope he can follow through and win 1st place.
Congratulations on going the distance with us today! Take care!
