2011.09.26 (Review of 2008.08.05 edition)
Welcome back! It's always an honor to have you with us for the start of another @Work series!
This week the customer is king (or queen), which means that those who serve them will have to indulge a royal whim or temper on occasion!
THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. お客様は神様です。
- The customer is always right means that customer satisfaction should be a business's first priority and that everything possible should be done to give customers what they want.
- The customer is always right. は、顧客の満足が企業の最優先事項でなければならず、顧客の望みをかなえるために、できる限りのことをするべきだ、という意味です。
- (at a restaurant)
WAITER: One of my customers says this isn't what he ordered, but I'm sure it is.
MANAGER: Remake the order anyway. Remember, "The customer is always right." - (airline executive talking about company policy)
There are times when the policy of "The customer is always right" simply does not apply. We will not tolerate disrespectful or harassing behavior towards our flight attendants. - They provide a quality product, and their front-office staff really understands the meaning of the slogan "The customer is always right." It's no wonder they've grown their business so quickly.
We bid you farewell, Your Highness!
