Hello! Welcome to a whole new month of Berlitz WordMaster. It's September already!!

ORDINAL NUMBERS    序数

Ordinal numbers are used for showing in what order something is: for example, the first, the second, the third, the tenth, etc. The word "the" is used, and the noun that follows the ordinal number is singular and doesn't end with an "s".

Ordinal numbers は、順序を表す数字です。例えば、第1、第2、第3、第10などです。序数の前には the を付け、後ろに来る名詞は単数形(sを付けない)にします。

1. I live on the 15th floor of my apartment building.

2. This is the first time I've been to this restaurant.

3. Mr. Browning is the fourth person from my office to get sick this week.
That's all for today! Thanks for taking a look at us.
