Welcome back to the world of Berlitz WordMaster! We couldn't be happier to have you here with us again.

Here's your Tuesday edition!

PAY (cash) / PAY WITH (a check)

When you pay with actual coins or notes (for example, \1000 bills, $5 bills, etc.), you pay cash. You can also pay with a credit card, or you can pay with a check (personal check, cashier's check, or traveler's check).

1. a: How will you be paying for this, sir?
   b: I'll pay with a credit card.

2. People in Japan pay cash for things more often than people in the United States.

3. When you have to send money through the mail, it's safer to pay with a check than to pay cash.
Until tomorrow!
