One of the reasons December is so exciting is that some of the year's best movies can be seen in theaters in that month. We thought this would be a good time to take up movies as our theme for the week. So let's turn down the lights, raise the curtain, and begin the fun with our first "WordMaster at the Movies!" |
"The movie is playing at the theater" means that you can see the movie at the theater.
We can also just say, "The movie is at the theater."
The movie is playing at the theater. は、劇場でその映画を見ることができる、つまり、その映画は劇場で上映されている、という意味です。
同じ意味で、The movie is at the theater. と言うこともできます。
