Explanation

  • Science  is the study of the physical and natural worlds.
  • science  は、物質界、自然界についての勉強、つまり科学や理科のことです。

  1. a: What was your favorite subject in grade school?
    b: Math. How about you?
    a: I always liked science  the best.
  2. a: Have you decided what you're going to do for your science  project?
    b: I'm going to build a small battery-powered car. How about you?
    a: I'm going to study how tadpoles(おたまじゃくし)become frogs.
  3. (two schoolchildren)
    a: I'm going to be a doctor when I grow up.
    b: How are you going to become a doctor? You don't even like science.
  4. Math and science  are my hardest subjects this semester.
