OUT OF ORDER 故障中
- When a machine or device is out of order, it isn't working well or isn't working at all.
- 機械や装置の調子が悪かったり、全く機能していないと言いたいときは、out of order という表現を使います。
- We'll have to take the stairs. The elevator is out of order.
- After the earthquake, the phones were out of order for three days.
- The coffee machine has been out of order since last Tuesday. I hope they fix it soon.
- a: Haven't you sent that fax yet?
b: I've been trying to, but the fax machine seems to be out of order.
