Happy Halloween! We're celebrating the macabre this week, and we plan to “scare the pants off you” (= REALLY scare you!) by Friday. We think you'll enjoy the words we've selected. It simply wouldn't be Halloween without them!

Today's Lesson
MAGIC   魔法

  • Magic is a special power that causes things to happen that we normally think are impossible.

To do magic is to make magic happen.
  • magic は、普通では考えられないような現象を起こすことができる特別な力、つまり、魔法です。

    do magic は、魔法をかける、という意味です。
