DISTANCE 距離
- The distance between two places is the length of the space between them.
- distance とは、2つの地点の間に広がる空間の長さ、つまり、距離、という意味です。
- The distance from Tokyo to Osaka is a little over 500 kilometers.
- During our three-day cycling trip to the Boso Peninsula, we covered (= traveled) a distance of 240 kilometers.
- I really enjoy driving long distances. Someday I'd like to drive the Trans-Canada Highway from one coast to the other.
- The bus stop is just a short distance from here. You can walk there in about five minutes.
- The hotel is within walking distance of many of the city's most famous landmarks.
