- To be nervous (at a particular time) is to be worried or frightened.
To be nervous (in general) is to become worried or frightened easily. - nervous は、一時的に不安になったり、恐怖を感じたりする、という意味です。
nervous には、一般的な性質として、すぐに不安になったり、怖がったりする、つまり、神経質な、という意味もあります。
- a: Are you nervous about the interview?
b: Can you tell?
a: Only because you've been biting your nails for the past hour. - (in a hospital)
DOCTOR: How are you doing today?
PATIENT: Well, I'm feeling a little nervous about the operation.
