Greetings!

We're spending this week in the kitchen, giving a name to objects commonly found there. Because each of these objects has a “katakana” name that sounds like English, you may think you already know what to call them. If so, this should be a week full of surprises for you. Enjoy!

Today's LessonCATEGORY:
PAPER TOWEL

Explanation

  • A paper towel is a thick piece of paper used for drying and cleaning, especially in the kitchen.

Be Careful! In the United States, we usually do NOT use the expression “kitchen towel”(キッチンタオル) to mean paper towel.
