Explanation

  • Someone's accent is the way they pronounce words because of the part of the world they live in or the group of people they belong to.

    Accent (noun, verb) also means “stress.”
  • accent とは、住む地域や属する集団による言葉の発音の仕方、つまり、訛り、方言のことです。

    accent (名詞、動詞)には、stress (アクセント、アクセントをつける)の意味もあります。

  2. Because his accent is so strong, it's sometimes hard to understand what he's saying.
