How was your holiday? We hope you're as excited about the arrival of autumn as we are. One of the things we like best about the season is the temperature - not too hot, not too cold. Here's a WordMaster edition that'll help you talk about this happy state of affairs!

Explanation

  • Something is cold if its temperature is low, especially when this is NOT pleasant.

    Something is cool if it is slightly (= not very) cold, especially when this IS pleasant.

    Something is hot if its temperature is high, especially when this is NOT pleasant.

    Something is warm if it is slightly hot, especially when this IS pleasant.
  • cold とは、温度が低く、特に快適ではない状態、つまり、寒い、という意味です。

    cool とは、それほど寒くなく、特に快適な状態、つまり、涼しい、という意味です。

    hot とは、温度が高く、特に快適ではない状態、つまり、暑い、という意味です。

    warm とは、それほど暑くなく、特に快適な状態、つまり、暖かい、という意味です。
