Explanation

  • The green light is permission to start doing something, such as taking action on a project.
    If someone gives a thumbs up to something, they agree to it or think it is good.
    If someone gives a thumbs down to something, they do not agree to it or do not think it is good.
  • green light とは、計画に着手するなど、何かを始めるための許可のことです。
    thumbs up とは、何かに賛成したり、よいと思っている、という意味です。
    thumbs down とは、何かに賛成しなかったり、よいと思わない、という意味です。
