Explanation

  • A brick-and-mortar business is one that serves customers face-to-face from actual physical facilities (such as offices or stores) rather than, for example, only via the Internet.
  • brick-and-mortar とは、インターネットを介してなどではなく、(オフィスや店舗など)実在する建物において顧客と顔をあわせて行う商売、つまり、従来型の、実店舗の、という意味です。
