Thursday greetings to you!
Have you ever considered just how extraordinary e-mail really is? Just click a mouse and your message finds its way through thousands of kilometers of wire and space, crossing oceans, deserts, and mountains in seconds and neatly arriving at just the right Inbox from among millions. Wow! WE can't even walk to the post office without getting lost!
SENSE OF DIRECTION 方向感覚
- A sense of direction is the ability to find your way to places easily.
- sense of direction は、自分が行こうとしている方角がすぐに分かる能力、つまり、方向感覚のことです。
- (driving)
a: I think I took a wrong turn somewhere.
b: (gently laughing) You really have no sense of direction, do you? - Seabirds have an amazing sense of direction. They can find their way back to small rocks in the middle of the ocean without a map or compass.
- A tour guide should have a good sense of direction, but Paul's sense of direction is terrible. I don't understand how he got the job.
You'll find us here again tomorrow. See you then!
