Explanation

  • A trademark (noun) is a name, symbol, or expression that can only be used for the products of a particular company.

    To trademark (verb) a name, symbol, or expression is to register it legally so that it can't be used by other companies.
  • 名詞の trademark は、特定の企業の商品のみに使用できる、名前やマーク、表現など、つまり、商標のことです。

    動詞の trademark は、他の企業が使用できないように、名前やマーク、表現などを法的に登録する、つまり、商標登録する、という意味です。
