We hope today's edition won't disappoint.
... We'd hate to lose you!
:)
WIN / LOSE (a customer)
- You win a customer when someone chooses to buy products or services from your company.
You lose a customer when someone who used to buy from your company chooses NOT to buy from you any longer.
- We've managed to win customers simply by keeping the focus on our core business - it's what we do best, after all - and counting on word of mouth to do the rest.
- I hope these renovations will help the store win back some of the customers that were lost as a result of the previous management's negligence.
- Many of the older shops downtown have lost customers to big-box stores in the suburbs.
Thanks for coming by!
