WRITE / CHECK (e-mail) （eメールを）書く／チェックする
- To write an e-mail is to type an e-mail message on a computer.
To check your e-mail is to look in your in-box for new e-mail messages. - write an e-mail は、コンピュータでeメールの文を入力する、という意味です。
eメールについて check と言うと、新しいeメールがないか、受信トレイの中を見る、という意味です。
- I seem to spend most of my time reading and writing e-mail these days.
