AVAILABLE 手が空いている、入手できる、利用できる
- If someONE is available, they are free (= not busy).
If someTHING is available, you can buy it, get it, or use it.
The noun form is availability. - 人について available と言うと、手が空いている（忙しくない）、という意味です。
物について available と言うと、購入できる、入手できる、利用できる、という意味になります。
名詞形は availability で、入手や利用の可能性、という意味です。
- a: Would you be available (= Are you available; polite form) at 3:00 on Friday?
b: Let me check my schedule. - I'll be available to start work on the grant application on Thursday.

Do you have any rooms available on the 21st? - Most of that information is already available on our Web site.
