  • take turns doing something は、複数の人が交代で何かをする、という意味です。



  1. We spotted an eagle high up in a tree, but we had to take turns with the binoculars because we'd only brought one pair.
  2. It's a long way to Portland, so we'll have to take turns driving.
  3. The kids take turns walking the dog, and it's my job to feed him.
