BLAME 責める、責任
- To blame (verb) something or someone for something bad that happens is to think or say that it's their fault.
The noun form is also blame. - blame (動詞)は、悪い出来事が、あるものや人のせいであると考えたり、言ったりする、つまり、責める、という意味です。
名詞形も blame で、責任、という意味です。
- Go ahead and quit then. Just don't blame me if no one else will hire you.
- a: The Board is blaming the CEO for the company's financial troubles and has requested his resignation.
b: That's ridiculous! Blame the failing economy, not the CEO. - Some people put the blame for rising oil prices on the OPEC cartel, but I think oil speculators are the problem.
